So you broke your phone . . .
It happens, don’t panic!
If you dropped it in water, don’t put it in rice either – it doesn’t work. If you have any of those little silica packets they ship with electronics, use those – but get the phone to us asap – you’d be amazed how often we can resurrect a wet phone.
Otherwise, for all the drops, knocks, smashes, broken earphone sockets, broken charge sockets, dead batteries and whatever other catastrophe has befallen your lifeline to the outside world, come in for a free quote for repair.
A lot of repairs can be done while you wait – we have comfy seats, take a load off while we do the work.
What we can fix
To be honest, we’ll attempt to repair almost anything. That being said, we are limited by available parts. iPhones being the predominately broken phone, we carry a lot of parts in stock. Other brands depends on model and age. It’s best to bring it on in, as an accurate diagnosis can’t be made by phone or email.
If you’ve got a new phone, and you’d like your data off your old phone, we’re happy to help. Contact us and make a time that suits you. As we’ll need both phones for a transfer, we’ll work around a time that leaves you stranded the least.
Sometimes a phone can be beyond all repair – if that’s the case we can provide an inspection letter to the effect for your insurance company. We can also attempt to recover what we can in the way of data so you can get as much as possible of your personal data onto your new phone. Although in that case, prevention is always better than cure, backup to the cloud, or a computer – android and ios both offer free or cost effective methods for backups.
